Design Engineer, FCC

Responsibilities

Design engineers create technical drawings and parts lists for internal and external clients. They examine their requests, analyse the functions of the planned device parts, work out suggested solutions using sketches and implement them using a computer programme (CAD). The drawings serve as a production template for the manufacturing of tools and production systems made of steel, carbide and special materials. The drawings and parts lists are then managed in SAP.
